The Architecture
Occupying 28,000sqm, equivalent to three football fields, the MBCCS is designed as an architectural icon with the capability to accommodate the world’s largest ships.
Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore (MBCCS) serves as a marine gateway to the heart of the city.
The terminal features a spacious arrival and departure hall, a large ground transportation area, and a distinctive undulating roof inspired by waves.
The design creates a dynamic mosaic when viewed from a cruise liner, offering passengers an ever-changing experience as the ship approaches land. The breaking waves at the junction with the ground transportation area serve as a grand entrance.
The terminal complements iconic Singaporean developments like the Business Financial Centre, Marina Bay Integrated Resort, Singapore Flyer, Esplanade, and Gardens by the Bay, presenting the city as a complete destination with world-class attractions and facilities.
